What the data shows across the season
- Noon kickoffs: the south end zone (Sections 10 to 13) gets the most shade, from the south stand and scoreboard.
- 3:30 pm kickoffs: the west sideline (Sections 19 to 23) goes into shade first, behind the west tower. The east sideline (Sections 1 to 7) stays sunniest.
- 7:30 pm kickoffs: the sun has set before kickoff for every remaining game.
- November games: the sun is lower, so shade comes earlier and low-sun glare increases for fans facing southwest.
