MetLife Stadium bag policy 2026: clear bags, water and cushions
MetLife Stadium allows one clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic bag, plus a small clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Backpacks, camera cases, fanny packs and diaper bags are not allowed.
Can you bring water?
Yes: factory-sealed bottles of water or soft drinks up to 20 oz, or an empty reusable bottle up to 20 oz. Water fountains are outside the restrooms on every level.
Can you bring food?
Yes, in a clear plastic bag. No glass, coolers or thermoses.
Can you bring a seat cushion?
No, unless it is for a medical need.
Can you bring an umbrella?
No. Leave it in the car or at the Bag Check Facility.
Can you bring a blanket?
Yes, carried by hand; it is searched at the gate.
Can you leave and come back in?
Not at Giants games. At Jets games you can re-enter up to 1 hour before kickoff.
Is the stadium cashless?
Yes. Cards and mobile payment only. Reverse ATMs turn cash into a free prepaid card: MetLife West Hall and Sections 118, 128, 149, 220A, 245, 322 and 347.
