Did the World Cup change the seats?
The four lower-bowl corners were rebuilt as removable seating so the stadium could fit a FIFA pitch for the 2026 World Cup final; for NFL games the seats go back to their exact original places. The architects, EwingCole, say whole sections come out and go back in under 48 hours. Our lidar was flown in March 2025, before the corner work, so it shows the NFL layout. Sources: EwingCole, ESPN.
Before you go
- Gates: open 2 hours before kickoff. No re-entry at Giants games; at Jets games you can re-enter up to 1 hour before kickoff.
- Bags: one clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear bag, plus a clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Bag policy.
- Water: factory-sealed bottles up to 20 oz, or an empty reusable bottle up to 20 oz.
- Seat cushions and umbrellas: not allowed.
- Beer: two per person; sales stop at the start of the third quarter.
- Getting there: every car needs a prepaid parking permit; NJ Transit trains run from Secaucus Junction and the 351 bus from Port Authority. Parking and transit.
