Lucas Oil Stadium bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Clear Bag Policy is enforced at all Indianapolis Colts events. Guests may carry one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, plus a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand. Fanny packs are not allowed. Bags containing medical devices, including breast pumps, are exempt from the clear bag policy but subject to security screening.

What items are banned at Lucas Oil Stadium?

Weapons or fireworks. Missile-like objects. Video cameras (prohibited for all Colts home games). Poles or sticks of any kind. Large purses, bags and backpacks (non-clear). Liquor containers, bottles, cans, liquid containers and coolers (except for special medical or dietary needs). Food not dispensed by Lucas Oil Stadium concessionaires. Objects that obstruct another patron's view of the playing field. Horns, bells, whistles, bullhorns, megaphones, klaxons, boom boxes and other noisemakers. Animals (except assistive animals for guests with disabilities). Selfie sticks. Blankets and seat cushions.

Can you bring food or water into Lucas Oil Stadium?

Lucas Oil Stadium prohibits guests from bringing in food and beverage, except for guests with special medical or dietary needs. The stadium is unable to store guests' medications, food or beverages.

Are umbrellas allowed at Lucas Oil Stadium?

Small, compact umbrellas are permitted in the stadium and must be placed securely under the seat.

Can you smoke at Lucas Oil Stadium?

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited within the stadium. Smoking is permitted outside within any of the 4 gates on the exterior of the stadium, at least 8 feet from doors per City-County Council Ordinance No. 44, Sec. 616-201. Guests who exit the gates may not be allowed to re-enter.

Is Lucas Oil Stadium cashless?

Lucas Oil Stadium is completely cashless for all events, including retail outlets, concession stands, bars and the Colts Pro Shop. Major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Two cash-to-card kiosks (Sections 105 and 129) allow guests to convert cash into a prepaid debit card with no transaction fee.
