Is there a sun and shade map for Lucas Oil Stadium?
No. A roof covers the seats, so the aerial lidar we use only sees the roof, not the rows under it. Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof composed of two panels, each weighing 2.5 million pounds, that opens or closes in about 9 to 11 minutes; the home team determines whether the roof is open or closed 90 minutes before kickoff. Without the rows we can't measure sightlines or sun minutes honestly, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies.
