Gillette Stadium bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

The only bags, packages or containers permitted to be carried by fans on all ticketed event and game days are a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag no larger than 11 in x 11 in, a bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC no larger than 12 in x 12 in x 6 in, or a small wristlet or handheld wallet, with or without handle or strap, no larger than 6.5 in x 4.5 in. Prohibited items will not be accepted at the stadium entrances for safekeeping.

What items are banned at Gillette Stadium?

Bags of any kind except the approved clear freezer bag, clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag, or small wristlet or handheld wallet. Animals, other than service animals assisting those with disabilities. Unmanned aerial vehicles including drones. GoPro cameras and video cameras. Tripods or monopods. Portable folding and/or standalone chairs. Seat cushions with pockets or zippers. Strollers or baby seats (an exception is made for strollers at Revolution games only). Coolers or containers, including cans, bottles, and kegs. Food or beverages. Illegal drugs and substances. Weapons of any kind, including pocket or utility knives. Umbrellas. Clothing or signs with wires, batteries or electronic components. Selfie sticks or any stick or pole of any size. Noisemakers, bullhorns, air horns, vuvuzelas. Balloons. Beach balls, lacrosse balls, inflated soccer balls, inflated footballs. Fireworks, pyrotechnics, flares. Laser pointers. Hover boards and Segways.

Can you bring food or water into Gillette Stadium?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the stadium. Guests may request an exception for medical supplies or dietary considerations by emailing teamops@gillettestadium.com at least 48 hours in advance of the event.

Are umbrellas allowed at Gillette Stadium?

Umbrellas are not permitted in the stadium.

Can you leave and come back in?

There is no stadium re-entry at Patriots and Revolution games. There is also no parking lot re-entry, and refunds are not given.

Can you smoke at Gillette Stadium?

Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the stadium.

Is Gillette Stadium cashless?

Gillette Stadium is a completely cashless stadium. Only contactless payment options are accepted within the stadium. There are no ATMs at the stadium. Event attendees can use one of the stadium's Cash-to-Card kiosks to convert cash into a Visa prepaid card at no cost.
