When do the gates open at Gillette Stadium?

For Patriots games, gates open 2 hours before kickoff. For Revolution matches, gates open 2 hours before kickoff for general fans and 3 hours before kickoff for Season Members, and Season Member lanes at each gate open 75 minutes before kickoff. (source)

Is there a sun and shade map for Gillette Stadium?

Not yet. The newest lidar survey was flown in 2021, before the north end zone was rebuilt in 2022 and 2023, so a model from it would show the old north end. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

Before you go

• Bags: The only bags, packages or containers permitted to be carried by fans on all ticketed event and game days are a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag no larger than 11 in x 11 in, a bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC no larger than 12 in x 12 in x 6 in, or a small wristlet or handheld wallet, with or without handle or strap, no larger than 6.5 in x 4.5 in. Prohibited items will not be accepted at the stadium entrances for safekeeping. Bag policy.
• Payment: Gillette Stadium is a completely cashless stadium. Only contactless payment options are accepted within the stadium. There are no ATMs at the stadium. Event attendees can use one of the stadium's Cash-to-Card kiosks to convert cash into a Visa prepaid card at no cost.
• Getting there: Gillette Stadium is served by the MBTA Franklin/Foxboro Line on weekdays and by special Foxboro Event Service trains for select events, arriving at Foxboro station about a quarter mile from the stadium. Event trains run from South Station in Boston (and from Providence station for select events), with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center. Round-trip event train tickets for Patriots games, Revolution games, and concerts are $20 and are only available through the mTicket app. Event trains usually arrive at least an hour before the event begins and depart Foxboro 30 minutes after the event ends. • Food: Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the stadium. Guests may request an exception for medical supplies or dietary considerations by emailing teamops@gillettestadium.com at least 48 hours in advance of the event.
