Chase Field bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Chase Field has a clear bag policy. Each fan may carry one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, plus a small clutch bag or wallet no larger than 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches. Backpacks and larger bags are not approved and must be returned to the guest's vehicle.

What items are banned at Chase Field?

Backpacks. Bags and wallets exceeding the size of a small clutch bag (6.5" W x 4.5" H). Luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags, briefcases, fanny packs, cinch bags. Animals (except for service animals). Alcohol brought from outside. Aerosol cans. Drones and other remote controlled vehicles. Drugs or other illegal substances. Firearms, knives or weapons of any kind. Fireworks or other incendiary devices. Camera tri, dual or single leg pods by non-media personnel. Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, razors or shoes with wheels. Blow horns or noisemakers. Umbrellas. Fishing nets. Beach balls, balloons or other inflatables (without prior approval). Laser pens. Flags with poles not sold in the Team Shop. Banners containing commercial, political or obscene material or that block guest views. Frisbees. Bicycles. Bubble-making liquids or machines.

Can you bring food or water into Chase Field?

Food is permitted as long as it is in a clear plastic bag. Only non-flavored/non-carbonated water in sealed plastic bottles, empty plastic water bottles, sealed single serving juice boxes, and formula or baby food are permitted as beverages. No metal or glass containers or thermos-style containers are permitted.

Are umbrellas allowed at Chase Field?

Umbrellas are prohibited at Chase Field.

Can you leave and come back in?

Guests may leave Chase Field at any time, but re-entry is only available at Gates A, F, J, and K. Guests must show their ticket and be scanned out, then show their ticket again to be scanned back in.

Can you smoke at Chase Field?

Chase Field is a non-smoking facility. Designated smoking areas are located outside of Gate A (north plaza), outside of Gate F, outside of Gate J (east), and outside of Gate K (northeast); a digital ticket is needed to re-enter from these outside areas. The policy applies to electronic cigarettes and cigars as well as traditional cigarettes.

Is Chase Field cashless?

Chase Field is a cashless venue for concessions, merchandise and all events.
