Vaught-Hemingway bag policy 2026: clear bags, umbrellas and water
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium only allows clear bags of 12 x 12 x 6 inches or smaller, under the SEC clear bag policy. Every bag is checked at the gate.
Can you bring an umbrella into Vaught-Hemingway?
No. Umbrellas, poles and sticks are banned. Only the back rows of the east sideline (M to Q, Rows 52 and up) and the south end zone (S3 to S9, Rows 48 and up) are covered, so bring a rain jacket.
Can you bring water into Vaught-Hemingway?
Yes: one sealed water bottle or one empty drink container, up to 20 oz. Other outside food, drinks and coolers are banned. Water Monster refill stations are at North 2, South 4, West F.
Can you bring a seat cushion into Vaught-Hemingway?
Yes, without armrests and no wider than 16 inches. Folding chairs and chairback seats with armrests are banned.
Can you bring a stroller into Vaught-Hemingway?
No. Strollers and baby carriers are banned.
Can you bring a sign into Vaught-Hemingway?
Yes, up to 17 by 11 inches. Larger or unauthorized banners are banned, as are air horns, cowbells, whistles and other artificial noisemakers.
Can you bring a camera into Vaught-Hemingway?
A still camera, yes; video cameras and drones are banned.
Can you leave and come back in?
No. There is no re-entry once your ticket is scanned.
Is Vaught-Hemingway cashless?
Yes, 100% cashless. Only cards and mobile payment are accepted. Rebel Cash points are at West D and East Q.
When do they stop selling beer at Vaught-Hemingway?
At the end of the third quarter. Sales start when the gates open. You must be 21, every sale needs ID (or the age-verified wristband from the concourse stations) and the limit is 2 drinks per purchase.
Can you smoke at Vaught-Hemingway?
No. The whole Ole Miss campus is smoke-free, vaping included.
