Is there a sun and shade map for U.S. Bank Stadium?

No. A roof covers the seats, so the aerial lidar we use only sees the roof, not the rows under it. U.S. Bank Stadium has a fixed, translucent roof made of ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene), a fluorine-based clear plastic, spanning 240,000 square feet and making it the largest ETFE roof in North America, designed by HKS to admit natural light while allowing the slanted surface to shed heavy snow loads into a heated gutter. Without the rows we can't measure sightlines or sun minutes honestly, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies.

Before you go

• Bags: Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags not exceeding 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer (Ziploc-style) bag, are permitted. A small clutch bag up to 4.5 in x 6.5 in, with or without a handle or strap, may also be carried along with one of the clear bag options. Exceptions are made for medically necessary items, including breast pumps, after inspection at a designated gate. Bag policy.
• Payment: U.S. Bank Stadium provides a fully cashless experience for events. Cash payments are no longer accepted; guests must use credit or debit cards or contactless options like Apple Pay for all purchases.
• Getting there: The METRO Blue and Green light rail lines stop directly at U.S. Bank Stadium Station outside the stadium, with service from Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bloomington. Over 100 Metro Transit bus routes serve downtown Minneapolis, with routes 3, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 22 and the METRO C, D and Orange Lines stopping at or near the stadium. More than 180 complimentary bicycle racks are located near the Legacy, 3M, Ecolab and Ticketmaster Gates. Parking and transit.
• Food: Outside food and beverage are not permitted. Guests may carry in a factory-sealed plastic water bottle less than 12 ounces. Exceptions are made for those with medical requirements and special needs.
