Toyota Center bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Toyota Center encourages fans to travel light and not bring bags. Permitted bags must be no larger than 10 in x 6 in x 2 in; diaper bags and medical bags are also permitted. All bags are subject to search upon entry, and fans carrying bags must use designated bag entrances: La Branch Street, Polk Street, Bell Atrium, and Skybridge. Bags that do not meet the size limit can be checked at Binbox lockers located at the Jackson Street Entrance and the Skybridge entrance on Level 3 of the Tundra Garage, starting at $10.00 per checked bag, non-refundable; only debit/credit and mobile payment are accepted, no cash. Toyota Center has a no re-entry policy, so bags are not accessible during the event. Bag check opens with arena doors and closes 60 minutes post-event.

What items are banned at Toyota Center?

Alcoholic beverages brought from outside. Illegal drugs. Outside food and drinks. Glass, plastic or metal containers. Video recorders and audio recorders. Laptops. Fireworks. Laser pointers. Backpacks. Coolers. Knives and weapons of any type. Baby seats or carriers. Unauthorized noise makers. Glitter, confetti, streamers. Helium balloons. Basketballs and beach balls. Parcels or packages. Inflatables. Personal motorized transporters (SkyWalkers). Selfie sticks and GoPros. Detachable phone lights. Large bags of any kind. Ski masks or masks of any kind.

Can you bring food or water into Toyota Center?

Outside food and drinks are prohibited at Toyota Center. No alcohol may be brought into the arena; alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside for guests 21 and older.

Can you leave and come back in?

Toyota Center has a no re-entry policy for all events.

Can you smoke at Toyota Center?

Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited inside Toyota Center, including all premium seating, dining and entertainment areas. A designated smoking area is accessible outside the arena on the Main Concourse level through doors near Section 117.

Is Toyota Center cashless?

Toyota Center is a cashless building. All points of sale accept credit cards or contactless payment. Cash can be exchanged for Virtual Currency at the Box Office, usable only for concessions through the Rockets App; Virtual Currency is nonrefundable but does not expire.
