TD Garden bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water
TD Garden strongly discourages bringing bags. Small bags, clutches, crossbodies and wristlets are permitted, but bags including clear bags must not exceed 6 in x 4 in x 1.5 in. Exceptions are made for diaper bags, breast pump bags and bags needed for medical purposes, which are subject to visual search and x-ray screening. All permitted bags are subject to visual or x-ray screening. Oversized bags can be stored at the Event Bag Check on Level 1 of North Station for a $15 fee; it opens two hours before an event and stays open until one hour after.
What items are banned at TD Garden?
Weapons and chains, including firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas and knives. Outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages. Glass or metal personal water bottles or cups. Illegal drugs, including medical marijuana. Vape pens, e-cigarettes or similar devices. Flammable items, including lighters and aerosol cans. Laptop computers and tablets. Digital SLR or professional cameras, or any camera with a detachable lens. Video recording devices such as GoPros or camcorders. Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks or sticks and poles of any size. Drones. Umbrellas that do not collapse to 12 inches or less. Laser pointers or similar nuisance items. Artificial noisemakers, glow sticks or glow jewelry. Large banners, flags, or signs, and any sign or banner with a pole or stick. Non-medical helmets or headgear.
Can you bring food or water into TD Garden?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside TD Garden at any time. Empty plastic water bottles up to 32 oz are permitted for Bruins and Celtics games, but are prohibited for concerts and other events unless otherwise communicated.
Can you leave and come back in?
TD Garden maintains a strict no re-entry policy. Guests who leave with an admission ticket are not permitted to leave and re-enter during the event, except in limited accommodation cases.
Can you smoke at TD Garden?
TD Garden is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the arena, and vapes of any kind are not allowed inside and may be confiscated.
Is TD Garden cashless?
TD Garden is a cash-to-card arena; only contactless payment, credit card, mobile payment, the TD Garden Hub app wallet, or debit card are accepted for food, beverage and merchandise purchases inside the arena. TD Bank ATMs are available on Level 4 outside Section 7/8, on Level 5 near the East elevator and West escalator, on Level 7 outside Section 307, and at the TD Bank Service Kiosk inside North Station.
