When do the gates open at SoFi Stadium?

For NFL games, entry gates open 2 to 3 hours prior to kickoff. Parking lots open 4 to 5 hours before kickoff. (source)

Is there a sun and shade map for SoFi Stadium?

No. A roof covers the seats, so the aerial lidar we use only sees the roof, not the rows under it. SoFi Stadium has a fixed roof, but about 60 percent of the roof structure covering the seating areas is made of translucent ETFE panels, a lightweight co-polymer resin film that lets in natural light and sky views while the venue stays climate-controlled. Without the rows we can't measure sightlines or sun minutes honestly, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies.

Before you go

Bags: Permitted bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12 in x 6 in x 12 in. A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar) is also allowed, as is a small non-clear clutch bag up to 4.5 in x 6.5 in, with or without a handle or strap. Non-approved bags can be stored at bag valet locations in the SW, NW, and NE corners for a nominal fee; SoFi cardholders check bags for free. Bag policy.
Payment: SoFi Stadium is a cashless facility; all points of sale are credit, debit, or gift card only. ReadySTATION cash-to-card kiosks are available on Level 4 South near Section 234 and at the upper American Airlines Plaza near the gates for guests to convert cash into a prepaid debit card.
Getting there: SoFi Stadium is not directly on a Metro rail line. For NFL games, take the Metro C or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center Station, where Metro offers shuttle service from Bus Bay 8 to SoFi Stadium on game day. GTrans runs line 7X from Harbor Gateway Transit Center every Sunday for a $4 round trip. Torrance Transit offers a $4 round trip ride, and Culver CityBus Line 99 Express offers a $2 round-trip ride to the stadium. Parking and transit.
Food: Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside SoFi Stadium except medically required items. Guests may bring one factory-sealed 20 oz plastic water bottle per person, or one empty, clear, non-metal, reusable water bottle of 20 oz or less for use at hydration stations.
