Protective Stadium parking, shuttle and rideshare 2026

Parking is in the BJCC lots and decks around the stadium, card only, and sold in advance on the Protective Stadium Directions and Parking page. For UAB games the parking and tailgate lots open 6 hours before kickoff.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes. UAB's free Blazer Express shuttle runs from the Hill Student Center (Zone B, 12th Street Parking Deck), from 4 hours before kickoff until 1 hour after the game. It is open to students and the public.

Where is rideshare pickup?

On 9th Avenue North between 23rd Street and 24th Street.

Is there public transport?

Yes. Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority's MAX buses serve the stadium; the MAX Trip Planner shows routes.

Is parking cashless?

Yes. BJCC-owned lots take cards only.
