Progressive Field bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Fans are permitted to bring manufactured diaper bags, medical bags, clutches, and small bags not exceeding 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches. Large bags and hard-sided coolers are not permitted.

What items are banned at Progressive Field?

Weapons/firearms, including pocket knives and blades. Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs brought from outside. Cans, glass, squeeze bottles, and thermos bottles. Aerosol cans or items containing contents under pressure. Cameras with telephoto lenses or lenses larger than 100mm, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks. Noise making devices including cowbells, air horns, whistles, bugles. Large bags and hard-sided coolers. Inflatable objects such as beach balls and inflatable brooms. Action sports equipment such as skateboards, roller blades, scooters and roller skates. Electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vapor cigarettes. Laser pointers. Chewing tobacco. Wrapped presents or gifts.

Can you bring food or water into Progressive Field?

Food items and a single factory-sealed bottle of water (20 ounces or less, one per person) or a small single-serving juice box can be brought into the ballpark, but these items are not permitted in Premium Seating areas such as Suites and the Terrace Club.

Are umbrellas allowed at Progressive Field?

Personal-sized umbrellas (approximately a 24 to 30 inch span, covering one person) are permitted, but may only be opened during a rain delay when the tarp is covering the field. Larger golf-sized umbrellas are prohibited.

Can you leave and come back in?

Fans needing to exit and re-enter Progressive Field must do so through a dedicated gate at the Left Field Gate. Their ticket is scanned upon exit and re-scanned upon return after passing through the security checkpoint.

Can you smoke at Progressive Field?

Progressive Field is a non-smoking facility in accordance with Ohio law. Smoking, tobacco use, and electronic cigarettes or vapor cigarettes are prohibited anywhere on Progressive Field property. Fans who need to smoke may use the re-entry gate in left field to leave the park.

Is Progressive Field cashless?

Progressive Field is a cashless venue. All purchases require a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or the Guards Mobile Wallet. Reverse ATMs that convert cash to a prepaid card are located near Fan Services behind Sections 153 and 572, the left field gate, and the right field neighborhood area.
