Mercedes-Benz Stadium bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water
Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and not exceed 12 in x 6 in x 12 in (this includes clear backpacks, fanny packs, and cinch bags), or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Small non-clear bags no larger than 4.5 in x 6.5 in are permitted alongside a clear bag. Exceptions are made only for medically necessary items after inspection by security. Guests with non-complying bags can use bag check/valet services at Gate 1 and Gate 2.
What items are banned at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
Bottles, cans, cups, coffee cups, glass, thermoses/tumblers, and other beverage containers. Outside food (exception: one factory-sealed, non-frozen 500mL bottle of plain water per guest; baby formula/milk and medically necessary food after inspection). Alcohol brought from outside the stadium. Large umbrellas (must be under 33 inches and kept closed inside the building). Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and cameras with a lens longer than 6 inches. Laptops; tablets larger than 12 in x 12 in x 6 in. Noisemakers, laser pointers, and lights. Chairs, booster seats, stools, or other seating devices. Knives of any length, weapons, pyrotechnics, and firearms. Masks, hoods, or any device concealing the face (per Georgia Code 16-11-38). Signs, flags, or banners larger than 3 ft x 5 ft, or with wood/metal/plastic supports. Loose batteries not used in a permitted device. Masks or face coverings concealing identity.
Can you bring food or water into Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
Outside food and beverage are not permitted. Each guest may bring one factory-sealed, non-frozen 500mL (16.9 fl oz) bottle of plain water (no soda, flavored water, or sports drinks). Parents may bring non-frozen formula or milk for infants in a clear bag meeting the Clear Bag Policy, subject to search.
Are umbrellas allowed at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
Umbrellas must be under 33 inches to be allowed into the building and must remain closed while inside.
Can you smoke at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a fully smoke-free facility, including vaping, e-cigarettes, and all tobacco products, in all areas inside and outside the stadium perimeter including the Front Porch.
Is Mercedes-Benz Stadium cashless?
Mercedes-Benz Stadium accepts card and mobile payment only (including Apple Pay and Google Pay). Cash-to-card kiosks are available outside Sections 101 and 122 to convert cash into a prepaid debit card.
