Clemson students sit in the Hill (general admission) and Top Deck sections. Student tickets are assigned to the Hill first, then Top Deck, based on the Student Point System; tickets are free through a season request process and a single-game lottery. (source)

What are the tailgating rules at Memorial Stadium (Clemson)?

Tailgating takes place in designated campus parking lots. Reserved IPTAY donor lots require a visible parking placard; counterfeiting or passing a placard results in loss of parking privileges. Towing of unauthorized vehicles in reserved lots begins at midnight the night before game day. Parking lots and streets open at 6 a.m. for kickoffs before 3:30 p.m. and at 8 a.m. for kickoffs at 3:30 p.m. or later. Tailgating is allowed within about 5 feet behind each vehicle; tailgating setups that limit the parking attendants' ability to park cars efficiently are not permitted. Is there a sun and shade map for Memorial Stadium (Clemson)?

Not yet. The west end zone was rebuilt in 2022, after the newest lidar survey was flown in 2019, so a model from it would show the old west end. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

Before you go

Bags: Clemson enforces a Clear Bag Policy at Memorial Stadium. Permitted bags are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 in x 6 in x 12 in (official Clemson Tigers logo clear totes are sold at local retailers), or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar). Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand and no larger than 4.5 in x 6.5 in, with or without a handle or strap, are also allowed. An exception is made for medically necessary items after security screening. Patrons may still carry binoculars, cameras and smart phones, but carrying cases for those items are not allowed. Season ticket holders receive one approved clear plastic tote per account. Bag policy.
Payment: Memorial Stadium does not have ATM machines. All concession locations take debit and credit cards.
Getting there: Clemson Area Transit (CATbus) operates the Red Route during home football games. Because of road closures, the Red Route drops off and picks up on campus at Cherry Road and Bryan Circle. Parking and transit.
Food: Outside food or beverages are not permitted inside Memorial Stadium. During heat management conditions, fans may bring in one clear, unopened bottle of water; water is also sold at concession stands for $3.
