Folsom Field seating chart: sections, rows, sun and shade
Folsom Field holds 50,183 fans: a lower bowl (Sections 101 to 121, Rows 1 to 50) and, on the same slope behind it, an upper deck (203 to 220, Rows 51 and up) round the south end and the east side. The field runs north to south. The west side backs onto Balch Fieldhouse and the press box; the north end is open. This guide models 39 seating sections from lidar.

What changed at Folsom Field since 2020?
A new south video board (130 x 36 ft) and a ribbon board over Sections 203 to 220, built in 2024; no sections were added, removed or renumbered. The student section was renamed The Charge in 2025. Sources: Mortenson, cubuffs.com.
Before you go
- Gates: open 2 hours before kickoff; the Student Entrance 2.5 hours before.
- Bags: a clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear bag, plus a clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. No umbrellas of any size. Bag policy.
- Water: one factory-sealed plastic bottle up to 51 oz, or an empty non-metal plastic bottle. No metal bottles (Hydro Flask, Stanley).
- Blankets: up to 50 x 60 inches.
- Paying: the stadium is cashless, with no ATMs.
- Getting there: $35 main campus lots or $20 East Campus lots with a free shuttle. Parking, shuttle and Ralphie's Road.
