What are the tailgating rules at Faurot Field?
Tailgating sites open at 8 a.m. on game day (subject to change) and must be cleared and cleaned by midnight or 3 hours after the game, whichever is later. Tents or canopies cannot exceed 10 ft x 10 ft, must be secured by sandbags, not staked, and are only allowed in lots where the fan holds a parking pass. Grills must be attended at all times and hot coals disposed of in designated bins; open fire pits are prohibited. Kegs or bulk alcohol are prohibited on university property, and alcohol consumption requires guests to be 21 or older. Motorized recreational vehicles, drones and portable toilets are prohibited. RevelXP is the official tailgate partner, with setup now located along Stadium Boulevard just north of Hearnes Center. (source)
Is there a sun and shade map for Faurot Field?
Not yet. A new north end zone was completed in 2026, after the newest lidar survey, so a model from it would show the old north end. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.
