What are the tailgating rules at Carter-Finley Stadium?

Written permission from NC State Athletics Facilities is required before making physical changes to assigned parking spaces, and permanent structures are not allowed. Beer and unfortified wine are the only alcoholic beverages permitted in NC State controlled parking lots. Tents must stay within the assigned parking space and not block walkways or travel lanes. Not yet. We have not built a seat model here yet: it needs a recent lidar survey of the stands as they are now, and we are checking the available surveys stadium by stadium. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

Before you go

Bags: Only one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, is permitted per guest. A small purse or clutch bag up to 6.5 in x 4.5 in, with or without a handle or strap, may be brought in addition to the clear bag. Exceptions are granted for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Bag policy.
Payment: Carter-Finley Stadium is a cashless facility. Cash is not accepted at concession stands, parking lots, or ticket booths.
Getting there: All parking on the grounds is reserved and requires a valid permit; game day lots are cashless and accept credit or debit cards only. Parking and transit.
Food: Food or drinks of any kind are prohibited except one unopened plastic water bottle or one empty water bottle or thermos per person.
