Bryant-Denny Stadium bag policy 2026: clear bags, food, water and umbrellas
Bryant-Denny allows one clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, plus a small clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Medically necessary items are allowed after inspection at the gate.
Can you bring an umbrella into Bryant-Denny Stadium?
No. Umbrellas are banned for safety and sightlines; leave them in your car.
Can you bring water into Bryant-Denny Stadium?
Not a full bottle, but empty non-glass bottles and cups are allowed for the free water stations. Refill stations are at lower level Sections 104, 107, 110, 123, 124, 133, 134 and 142, upper level Sections 817, 830, 847 and 860, and Gates 6, 22, 28 and 40.
What size seat cushion is allowed?
Up to 16 inches wide, with no pockets, zippers, compartments, armrests or covers. Chair back rentals are sold inside Gate 33, inside Gate 13, and at Sections 801 and 816.
Can you leave and come back in?
No. You cannot re-enter on the same ticket.
Is Bryant-Denny Stadium cashless?
Yes. Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted.
When does beer stop at Alabama games?
Beer and wine sales end after the third quarter. Drinks bought inside cannot leave the stadium.
Can you smoke or vape?
No. The whole University of Alabama campus is smoke free, including e-cigarettes.
