In 2024, sections 218 and 219 and part of section 217 were permanently removed to fit the new Fanning Student-Athlete Performance Center into the stadium's northeast corner, reducing capacity from 55,000 to 51,913. (source)
What are the tailgating rules at Bobby Dodd Stadium?
Tailgating is allowed on campus, but grills are not allowed inside parking decks and garages, including E81: Tech Square Deck. (source)
Is there a sun and shade map for Bobby Dodd Stadium?
Not yet. Part of the northeast corner was removed in 2024 for the new Fanning Center, after the newest lidar survey was flown in 2018. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.
