What are the tailgating rules at Amon G. Carter Stadium?
One parking pass allows one parking spot; tailgating must stay behind the vehicle and keep items adjacent to the front or rear, clear of driveways, roadways, pedestrian walkways, fire lanes and landscaped areas. The selling of alcohol or use of kegs is strictly prohibited; personal containers only, no glass. A fire extinguisher or bucket of water must accompany any BBQ or pit, and all flames must be extinguished and electrical outlets unplugged before entering the stadium. Dump stations for coals and ashes are available in Lots 1 and 3. Display of advertising, banners, signs or commercially logoed vehicles is not allowed. Donor lots open five hours before kickoff; for games starting at or before 2:30 p.m., lots must be cleared three hours after the game, and for games starting after 2:30 p.m., lots must be cleared 90 minutes after the game or by 11 p.m., whichever comes first.
Is there a sun and shade map for Amon G. Carter Stadium?
Not yet. The east side was expanded in 2020, after the newest lidar survey was flown in 2019, so a model from it would show the old east side. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.
