What bag can you bring into American Airlines Center?

Permitted bags are a 4.5 in x 6.5 in wristlet, wallet or clutch, permitted at all entrances, or a large purse up to 14 in L x 6 in W x 14 in H with no backpacks or large totes, subject to X-ray inspection at the four main entrances (North, East, West or South Doors). Medical and diaper bags accompanying a small child, under 14 in L x 6 in W x 14 in H, are permitted at all entrances subject to security inspection. All permitted bags are subject to security inspection. Clear bags are permitted but not required. Oversized bags larger than 14 in L x 6 in W x 14 in H, including backpacks and large totes, are prohibited, and American Airlines Center does not provide an area to check oversized bags or luggage. Only a small wristlet, wallet or clutch is permitted at the Chime Lane entrance.

Can you bring food or water into American Airlines Center?

Guests are not permitted to bring any food or beverages into American Airlines Center. Containers such as bottles, cans, thermos bottles, or plastic coolers are not permitted. Guests with specific or special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should see the Concessions page or contact Guest Services to discuss food options available.

Can you leave and come back in?

Re-entry is not allowed at any event at American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.

Can you smoke at American Airlines Center?

Smoking is not permitted inside American Airlines Center. Guests can smoke at the Patron Tequileria Patio or the ULTRA Club Patio. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.

Is American Airlines Center cashless?

American Airlines Center has been a completely cashless arena since November 1, 2022. Guests can pay using valid debit or credit cards, or mobile wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. Cash is not accepted at any parking, merchandise, or concession locations. A Cash to Card ReadySTATION kiosk is available for converting cash to a prepaid card.
