What bag can you bring into BC Place?

BC Place strongly encourages guests not to bring bags of any type. The only bags permitted are a clutch purse or belt bag no larger than 6.5 in x 8.5 in, or a clear plastic bag (including a clear plastic freezer bag) no larger than 12 in x 12 in x 6 in. Exceptions may be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag. All bags are subject to search. Bag check is available on a first-come-first-served basis at C$10 per piece, typically at Gate H for Whitecaps and Lions games or at Lot 457 for full-stadium events.

What items are banned at BC Place?

Purses, backpacks (including clear backpacks), mesh bags, camera bags and binoculars cases that exceed the bag policy. Seat cushions. Luggage and coolers. Weapons of any kind, including knives, pepper spray, stun guns and firearms. Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs and other pyrotechnics. Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals. Outside food or beverages, except permitted empty water bottles. Aerosol cans or pressurized containers. Professional camera equipment, including tripods and large commercial video cameras. Can you bring food or water into BC Place?

Outside food or drink is not permitted, with special considerations for infant bottles, unopened baby food and medical reasons. Empty personal water bottles up to 1 litre, with or without lids, are permitted and subject to inspection at the gate; permitted bottles can be refilled at concourse drinking fountains. Can you leave and come back in?

For most events, including Vancouver Whitecaps FC matches, BC Lions games and concerts, there are no in/out privileges. Once a guest leaves the stadium, they may not re-enter. (source)
