VyStar Arena bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Kennesaw State adheres to a clear bag policy at the Convocation Center. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, are permitted. Individuals may also carry a small handheld clutch purse no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap. Childcare items, including diapers, must be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons are allowed but must enter through a designated gate to be checked.

What items are banned at VyStar Arena?

Backpacks, binocular cases, briefcases, camera bags, drawstring bags, computer bags, coolers, diaper bags, fanny packs, luggage. Purses larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Seat cushions with pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers. Outside alcoholic beverages. Weapons of any kind, including knives, pepper spray, stun guns, slingshots, concealed weapons, firearms. Fireworks of any kind, including smoke bombs and flares. Glass and plastic bottles, cans, coolers, containers, food or beverages of any kind. Bags larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Air horns, whistles, seat cushions with backs. Illegal drugs or chemicals. Laser pointers. Umbrellas. Animals, except service animals. Unapproved pamphlets, handouts and advertisements. Can you bring food or water into VyStar Arena?

No glass and plastic bottles, cans, coolers, containers, food or beverages of any kind may be brought into the venue; no outside food or beverages are allowed inside the Convocation Center. (source)

Is VyStar Arena cashless?

The concessions stand accepts major credit cards; the venue is a card-only facility for concessions purchases. (source)
