When do the gates open at Memorial Stadium?

Memorial Stadium gates have opened as early as 9 a.m. for an 11 a.m. FCS playoff kickoff, and as late as four hours before kickoff for other games. (source)

What are the tailgating rules at Memorial Stadium?

Texan Alley Tailgate opens at 8 a.m. on gameday in the RV parking lot northwest of the stadium, bordering the track facility. The Pointe du Hoc rally with ROTC takes place at the Earl Rudder statue on Rudder Way, 3.5 hours before kickoff.

Is there a sun and shade map for Memorial Stadium?

Not yet. We have not built a seat model for this stadium. Our sun and shade maps need a recent lidar survey and a section-by-section seating map, so we cover the bigger FBS and NFL stadiums first. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

• Payment: As of the 2026-27 athletic season, all Tarleton State Athletics venues including Memorial Stadium operate cashless, with American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa accepted, and reverse ATM cash-to-card kiosks available on site.
