Mackey Arena bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Purdue Athletics implements a clear bag policy at Mackey Arena. Fans may bring one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, or one one-gallon clear plastic bag, plus one small clutch bag no larger than 4.5 in x 6.5 in. Exceptions are made for ticket holders with medically necessary items or diaper bags, which are accepted at all entrances after inspection. As of the 2025-26 season, Purdue Athletics added OPENGATE entry systems that automatically screen bags and items; the clear bag policy remains in effect.
