What are the tailgating rules at InfoCision Stadium?

Tailgating is permitted in university-owned surface lots, parking decks, and designated campus green space. Lots 6, 8, 9, 10, and 72 open at 8 a.m. on game days; all other campus lots open four hours before kickoff. Vehicle and tailgating activity may occupy no more than one parking space and must not block traffic lanes or pedestrian movement. Small gas grills are permitted in open surface lots; charcoal grills are prohibited anywhere on campus, and all grills are prohibited in parking decks. Tents larger than 10 feet by 10 feet are not allowed without prior University approval. Overnight parking, including RVs, requires prior approval from UAkron Park.

Is there a sun and shade map for InfoCision Stadium?

Not yet. We have not built a seat model here yet: it needs a recent lidar survey of the stands as they are now, and we are checking the available surveys stadium by stadium. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

Before you go

Bags: Approved clear bags may not exceed 12 x 12 x 6 inches, made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, medical bags, and small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, are also approved. Backpacks, binocular cases, camera cases, fanny packs, large-printed bags, mesh bags, purses, and tinted plastic bags are prohibited. Bag policy.
Payment: All University of Akron Athletics venues are cashless. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are accepted at concession locations; the ticket office does not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Food: Outside food and beverages are not permitted at Akron Athletic venues.
