What bag can you bring into Giant Center?

Hersheypark Entertainment Complex, which includes Giant Center, prohibits large bags including backpacks, large purses, clear bags, fanny packs, camera bags, drawstring bags, totes and suitcases. Hand clutches, wristlets and small purses are permitted but are subject to search and must not exceed 5 in x 8 in x 1 in. Exceptions are made for a medical equipment bag and/or a parenting needs bag smaller than 14 in x 14 in x 6 in, which must go through metal detection screening and are subject to physical search. There is no bag storage at Giant Center; prohibited bags must be returned to the guest's vehicle.

What items are banned at Giant Center?

Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, mace and chains. Glass bottles, cans, hard-sided coolers, thermoses and open containers (baby bottles excepted). Bags larger than 5 in x 8 in x 1 in (medical or parenting needs bags under 14 in x 14 in x 6 in excepted). Inflatable items and beach balls. Selfie sticks, tripods and monopods. Laser pointers. Can you bring food or water into Giant Center?

Outside food and beverages, including all alcoholic beverages, are not permitted inside Giant Center. Exceptions are made for guests with medical restrictions or conditions, and guests with small children may bring baby food and formula. (source)

Can you leave and come back in?

There is no re-entry once a ticket has been scanned. Guests who exit the building may not re-enter with the same ticket. (source)

Can you smoke at Giant Center?

Giant Center is a smoke-free building. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas; violators may be ejected and have their tickets revoked. (source)
