Where do students sit at First Community Stadium?

Current Rice students with valid Rice IDs receive free entry and sit in Sections 106-107, available first come first served.

What are the tailgating rules at First Community Stadium?

Tailgate Owley, the official tailgate area, is located directly east of the stadium and opens 3 hours prior to kickoff. Tailgating at vehicles in other parking lots is free and first come, first served; set-up in adjoining spaces or fire lanes is not allowed. RV tailgating is permitted in West Lot 6 by reservation. Generators are not allowed in stadium parking lots. Hot coals must be doused with water and disposed of in designated coal dumpsters; open fire pits are prohibited. Alcohol consumption is permitted in the parking lot and official tailgate areas for fans 21 and over (no glass bottles). (source)

Is there a sun and shade map for First Community Stadium?

Not yet. We have not built a seat model here yet: it needs a recent lidar survey of the stands as they are now, and we are checking the available surveys stadium by stadium. We only publish seat and sun data measured from a survey of the stands as they are now, so this guide sticks to the schedule, parking and stadium policies until a newer survey is flown.

Before you go

Bags: Oversized bags, briefcases and coolers are not allowed. One liter unopened bottle of water is permitted as the exception to the no outside food and beverage rule. Bag policy.
Payment: Parking, ticketing and concessions at Rice Stadium are completely cashless.
Getting there: Parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff. Parking and transit.
Food: Food and beverages are prohibited except for one unopened 1 liter bottle of water.
