Tailgating is allowed in the stadium lots once they open. Companies may not issue sample products without being properly licensed by the university, and any promotional activity must be approved in advance by the Sam Houston State Athletic Department's Marketing/Licensing office. (source)

Bags: Large bags including purses, backpacks, camera cases, duffle bags, tote bags, grocery totes and large cinch bags are not permitted. Camera cases larger than 6.5 x 5 x 6 inches and diaper bags larger than 12.5 x 7.5 x 1.5 inches are not permitted. Bag policy.
Payment: Alcohol purchased at a Sam Houston athletic event must be consumed inside the venue or discarded prior to leaving; no alcohol may be brought in from outside the venue.
Getting there: Disability parking with a state-issued hang tag is available in the west lot on the press box side of the stadium. Parking and transit.
