Coleman Coliseum bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

For quickest entry, fans are strongly encouraged not to bring a bag. If a bag is necessary, it must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. A small clutch bag no larger than 4.5 in x 6.5 in, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried in addition to one of the clear bag options. Exceptions are made only for medically necessary items after inspection by security personnel.

What items are banned at Coleman Coliseum?

Animals, except service animals. Artificial noisemakers (bells, horns, whistles, cow bells, etc.). Banners/flags/signs that are commercial, political, or offensive in nature. Cameras with telephoto lenses over 6 in long. Cans/glass bottles (empty plastic/metallic cups or bottles are permitted). Seat backs larger than a single seat (16 in wide). Clear bags over 12 in x 6 in x 12 in and non-clear bags over 4.5 in x 6.5 in, including coolers. Outside food and/or drink, including alcohol. Large electronics, including laptop computers. Can you bring food or water into Coleman Coliseum?

Food and drink are not allowed to be brought into the facility. Fans are asked to leave food or drink items in their vehicle or dispose of them at the security checkpoint before entering; exceptions are made for approved medically necessary snack items. (source)

Can you leave and come back in?

Once admitted to Coleman Coliseum, no ticket holder is permitted to leave and re-enter the facility on that ticket. A valid, unscanned ticket is required for every entry. (source)

Can you smoke at Coleman Coliseum?

The University of Alabama is a Smoke Free Campus. All forms of smoking, including electronic cigarettes, are prohibited on campus. (source)

Is Coleman Coliseum cashless?

All Coleman Coliseum concession stands are cashless and accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit/debit cards. A Cadence Bank ATM is located in the northwest concourse near the TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Office doorway. (source)
