CEFCU Stadium bag policy: bag size, banned items, food and water

Fans may bring one clear bag no larger than 12 in x 6 in x 12 in or a one-gallon plastic storage bag, plus a small clutch or purse for privacy, one per person. All bags are subject to search.

What items are banned at CEFCU Stadium?

Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs. Any drink other than sealed water bottles. Outside food not purchased at Block Party/Tailgate Areas. Animals except service animals. Banners, signs, flags, or balloons. Skates, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters, or bicycles. Boxes or wrapped packages. Cans, glass, flasks, any container larger than 20 oz that is not empty, or open containers. Coolers, backpacks, or bags larger than 12 in x 12 in x 15 in. Fireworks, confetti, flares, laser pointers, or distraction devices. Horns or artificial noisemakers. Face coverings that hide one's identity. Folding chairs, stools, and lawn furniture. Non-retractable umbrellas. Poles, sticks, monopods, or tripods larger than 24 in. Remote control cars, toys, or drones. Tobacco items of any kind, including e-cigarettes. Weapons or projectiles.

Can you bring food or water into CEFCU Stadium?

Sealed water bottles are permitted; no other outside drinks are allowed, and outside food is prohibited unless purchased at the Block Party/Tailgate areas or it fits inside a permitted game day bag.

Are umbrellas allowed at CEFCU Stadium?

Non-retractable umbrellas that cannot be opened in seating are prohibited.

Can you leave and come back in?

There are no in-and-out privileges at CEFCU Stadium; once a guest exits, they may not re-enter.

Can you smoke at CEFCU Stadium?

Smoking or the use of tobacco, including e-tobacco, is not permitted in SJSU Athletics facilities.

Is CEFCU Stadium cashless?

CEFCU Stadium and the box office are a cashless facility; all points of sale are credit, debit, or gift card only.
